NEWS: |TNA Angle| One of the big announcements coming out of No Surrender (09.24.06) is the signing of Kurt Angle. Angle, who was granted a release from his WWE contract, was shown training for his impending debut with TNA. Rumors began flying that Angle was training for MMA, but now it’s obvious that it was a ruse.

I still can’t believe it.

Well its obviuos TNA has showed more performance over these last few years. Kurt is a perfect fit, look at the talent he can wrestle with and WWE he would have to put over guys who are not good enough. Well done to TNA, also TNA new catchphrase, shows that Russo will not change direction of the company.

Also on TNA website they mention Monty Brown name in the move to prime time, which means he is in there plans very much so.

-Diamond- TNA delivered last night. There’s been a ton of change in under a week and it’s all pretty surprising except the primetime slot.
Angle is automatically the top guy in TNA now. I would love to see Joe and Angle wrestle.

Agree Joe v Angle would Rock. They also should put AJ with him and Daniels/Homicide. These matches would be great as well, but Joe v Angle is a draw.
Wheres I Always Choose at?

oh my god!!!! Kurt Angle!! Kurt f***ing Angle!!!! I was just thinking about how good he was the other day too! This is like the best thing that could have happened, eeever! In fact I think I’ve just soiled myself, and i’m not ashamed to admit it!

Whats up Benn, lol and yes it is a big deal for TNA.

Also the way TNA pulled it off was great. No one knew about it and I hope companies do this from now on. Keep everything secret, then suprise the audience.

i know! god, it’s gonna take a while to register. Now TNA has got the perfect roster. You remember in wwf when him and edge n christian were aguing n they called him a dork? so ace! How much must CM Punk be regretting his decision now they’ve got the 2 hour show!
September 27th, 2006 at 12:39 am
CM Punk was a great talent but he wasnt patient enough.
September 27th, 2006 at 12:40 am
He really got over in TNA, but in WWE they have big plans for him. So maybe it was the better decision for CM Punk.
September 27th, 2006 at 12:41 am
Also I dont know what to make of this, but Monty Brown will be on the Bound For Glory poster?
September 27th, 2006 at 2:57 am
-Benn- lol, I like the enthusiasm.

September 28th, 2006 at 12:13 pm
Maybe a Monty Brown post will bring her back?
